Dangerville Improv is comprised of Jose Gonzalez and Michelle Edwards (two people with two very ordinary names). Jose and Michelle met a few years ago. They have since realized eachother exist.
The idea behind the 'band" is to literally make it up as they go. They will get a suggestion, usually a word or phrase, and from there they improvise a musical number. They're quite good at it and also enjoy talking about themselves in the third person.
