Sounds Like
My story is not a pleasant one; it is neither sweet nor
harmonious, as invented stories are; it has the taste of
nonsense and chaos, of madness and dreams--like the
lives of all men who stop deceiving themselves.

The Clown Prince of Crime. You are a brilliant mastermind but are criminally insane. You love to joke around while accomplishing the task at hand.
yes to it all I say, dance eat drink sing and be bigger than plasma! as for when we can do it all again...SOON I hope. We're trying to nail down a shindig date but the properties in BC are sucking up a lot of our weekends. Alas you and the tall beauty will be amongst the first to know!
Ha the Charlie Parker of poetry! Thanks, James. Also, thank you for translating celsius to ferenheit for me like that. I was recently hanging around some Canadians bemoaning the fact that I didn't compute their numbers very easily. Damn American education!
Wow, Calgary is a degree warmer than Las Vegas is today. Enjoy the warmth, you've earned it. I am about to relandscape my yard to get rid of the grass and make it a pretty desert garden that requires less water.
Holiday Greetings from the beach... it's about eighty degrees out. All the clothes I brought are too warm. Poor me. You and your lovely wife keep your feet warm and try my coquito recipe: it's in my blog in the newest entry, posted beneath the sonnet.
Yes, this time last winter was when the snow and frost came to the desert and choked my beloved elephant food plant. I got a new one and it's well. I intend to bring it in at the first sign of a real cold snap. Those are clearly rare here, but not too rare. I mean, it is getting so that it pretty much snows at least once or twice a year: global warming is truly bizarre. The frost nearly destroyed my bottle palm, but new fronds sprouted last spring not just from the top but from all around the base and up and down the trunk as well. I've never seen anything like it at all. It was so determined to survive. My roses are having a banner year. I love how the best blooming season for roses in the desert is late November/early December. They are so abundant and smell so lovely in the afternoon sun.
I am steadily destroying most of my indoor plants, including a poor innocent venus flytrap. Ah well. The bamboo in my office at work is thriving in the flourescent lights!
I love the sound of your indoor Calgary jungle. Stay warm and it's nice to see you as well!
i feel bad that you have been commenting so much on my page but i am not doing so on your page...maybe you should do something on your page then i can comment....hmmmm b
Yeah you've got those fingers buttered up alright. I've got a new electro-acoustic now too (I make up for my lack of talent with nice gear), so I'm very excited to record with it. I'm at 969-4724, and I'll be up for recording anytime especially after April 20 (last exam). Good bye.
