Dango Rose is a multi-instrumentalist who utilizes strings for the purpose of preserving old traditions and writing songs. He is well known in the area as the upright bassist for Elephant Revival, the Nederland based Neo-Acoustic Transcendental Folk Quintet. When not touring the nation, Rose spends much of his time hidden away in the mountains, writing songs and stories on an old civil war fretless banjo. His recent foray into the world of writing obscure melodic poems on antique instruments has led Rose into an enigmatic circumstance, pending the release of his solo debut ‘Banjo Poems’ in early 2010.

Hey Dango, I got to meet some of your friends from Mountain Standard Time up at 10000 Lakes FEstival in MN this past week. Hopefully their guitarist, i thought his name was Mike ( not sure at all realy) will pass on the love. Heard you guys had a masterful equiptment exchange that was unintentional yet extremely well-timed-and-placed. That's good news for sure. Hope to see you this winter back in Colorado... you'll have to introduce me to some of your friends and i'll finally not have to be snuck into the boulder theatre for age-related reasons hehe (but thanks again for doing that, it was sweet)
