Music
I love all types of music... so longs as its not Rap or Hip Hop. Singing is my passion, and I have sung in several different vocal groups, but haven't found any lately that I am willing to sing with. Hopefully that will change soon because I really miss that. I do sing in the choir at my church in Lexington, and have done so since I was in 7th grade. A very long time ago. Very long time. Man, I'm really old...
Movies
I'm a certified movieholic. I have to take medication. Seriously. At current I have lots of favorites, to the point that I can't really sit down and come up with a top ten as such.. but I can come up with a favorite from each genre:
Drama-Suspense: +Unbreakable
Action/Adventure: +Indiana Jones and The Temple Of Doom
Horror: +Cujo
War: +Where Eagles Dare
Comedy: +Napolean Dynamite
Indie: +The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou
Romance: +Return To Me
Sci Fi: +Star Wars (Original Trilogy)
Comic Book: +Superman Returns
Video Game: +None come to mind... they all suck
Foreign Language: +Life Is Beautiful
Musical: +Moulin Rouge
Period Piece: +Cold Mountain
More to come...
Television
I no longer have cable at my house. I've realized that its not worth the money considering the small amount of time that I have available to me to actually sit down and watch tv. Besides, there aint nothing on worth watching anyway. However, I do have several Favorite shows ( all of which I will one day own on dvd ).
+Grey's Anatomy
+Boston Legal
+Scrubs
+My Name Is Earl
+Law and Order
+Maximum Exposure ( aka: Max X )
+Kids In The Hall
+Family Guy
+Seinfeld
+Everybody Loves Raymond
+Etc. Etc.
Books
I'm really sad because I don't do a lot of reading anymore. I just haven't been willing to make the time to sit down and actually do it. There are SO many great books that I want to read, but there are also so many other things that I could be doing, too... Torn is the operative word here.
Heroes
I'm assuming this isn't for "SuperHeros," so I'll list some of my real life heros.
Neal Boortz - Libertarian Talk Show Host leading the cause of the Fair Tax. Dr. Kent Hovand - Creation Science Apologist leading the cause for the abolishment of evolutionary teaching in public schools. Gen. Robert E. Lee - Confederate General and Model Christian.

Josh & I played acquire last night. It was probably the most interesting game I have ever played. At times I only had one tile I could actually play without starting an 8th corp. It reminded me that we should play more often dear old friend.
So I lucked up and just happen to notice that today was your birthday. Well, I hope you have had a good one. I will probally be the only one to give you birthday wishes from Chicago unless you have met one of those weird stalker people on the net.
