As for drummers, the usual hard rock and metal suspects (John Bonham, Danny Carey, Vinnie Paul, Lars Ulrich, Raymond Herrera, Abe Cunningham, Alex Van Halen, Tommy Lee, Chris Pennie).
I like bands with energy (Metallica, Rage Against The Machine, Nirvana), groove (Black Sabbath, Down, deftones), aggression (Pantera, Megadeth, Sepultura), synthesis (NIN, U2, Fear Factory) and versatility (Tool, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Faith No More, A Perfect Circle, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Alice In Chains). I also dig straight up rock (AC DC, Green Day, Led Zeppelin, old Aerosmith, G n' R & Crue, etc) and anything gangsta (Dr. Dre, Snoop, Ice Cube, Tupac, etc).
Drum n' bass, jungle, trip-hop, trance, funk, jazz and Latin also contributed to my style.
There's even more than that but you get the idea. What are YOU into?
I'm a drummer from New York, now living in Los Angeles. I've been drumming for 19 years and playing in bands for almost as long.
In addition to all the playing, I've worked in the music industry for seven years in New York and Los Angeles at Universal Records, The Harry Fox Agency, Warner Music Group, APM Music and Concord Music Group.
I've studied with many great teachers and I've become a music educator myself. I teach private drum lessons and I also offer music business consultation services to college students, companies, musicians and working professionals. My areas of expertise include contracts, copyright issues, independent press and radio promotion, licensing and royalties.
I perform and record with musicians from many different musical backgrounds and in early 2007, I co-founded the L.A.-based metal band Among The Infected with Lee Wanner and Paula Stefanini. All of my gigs get posted here too so stay tuned!

I hope this week is your best ever! Mother Teresa said;" To be happy with God on earth presupposes certain things:to love the way he loves;to help the way he helps;to give the way he gives;to save the way he saves;to remain in his prescence 24 hours a day;to touch him in the poor and in those who suffer. When we touch the sick and needy we touch the suffering body of Christ. True love causes pain. Jesus,in order to give us the proof of his love, died on the cross. A mother,in order to give birth to her baby, has to suffer. If you really love one another, you will not be able to avoid making sacrifices. The poor do not need our condescending attitude or our pity. They only need our love and tenderness. To me, Jesus is the life I want to live, the Light I want to reflect, the Way to the Father, the Love I want to express, the Joy I want to share, the Peace I want to sow around me. Jesus is everything to me." May the Lord give you his peace...
