The Music on the Player

As some of you know, I'm in a band called Anything Box but I also enjoy doing and working on other music on my own as well. I decided to post some of my solo stuff and one Abox song here at the request of some of my friends and family!

Songs were written in different time periods of my life with different people and locations. The songs posted seem to go in different directions but I don't mind because life seems to work that way too.

So I hope you enjoy - if not, that's OK too.

ABOUT THE SONGS

"Insecurity"
This song was written by Brian Salmon, myself & Steve Braseny. We were all in a band called "Cellophane Flowers". Steve was extremely gifted and incredible drummer. Brian was the lead singer with a great voice and fantastic song writing abilities. I had a great time with these guys. I don't believe they are doing music anymore though :(

"Your Love"
This song written by Keith Milo and myself for a complilation. Keith Milo is a brilliant music programmer, producer, talented musician and song writer. He is in a band called Cause and Effect & they're great! I love their stuff.

"Window"
This song was written and produced by me. It was the first song I programmed, recorded and released on my own. Additional percussion was done by Eric Holt, because I was not good at drum programming & he was kind enough to offer. Eric Holt is a talented drummer turned world class pastry chef living in Texas.

"All These Days Undone"
was written by my wonderful and talented bandmates, Paul Rijnders & Claude S. of Anything Box. I feel so lucky to have gotten the chance to sing this song on our album "Peace" but hope to never experience the true sadness I sing about. (myspace.com/anythingbox)

Hi there!

My finals are over and I am done with the spring semester. Yeah!

I’m looking forward to the free time. It’ll give me the chance to catch up on visiting with family and friends. I’m looking forward to rehearsing with the band as well because it’s been a while – too long.

Already planning on going to some local concerts & shows this summer. Wilco and the Gypsy Kings are definitely on my list! If you know of any bands or shows I should go check out in the Southern California area - please feel free to let me know.

Finally working on music as well. Just experimenting at the moment – in the brainstorming stage.

I hope everyone is doing well. This year has been a very crazy and strange year for most of us but it feels like things are a little less crazy.

Please stay positive and continue to stay in touch! Though I can't always respond - I am grateful for your messages! Thank You – they really do make my day!
