After working with Nashville greats such as David Malloy (producer for
Reba, Dolly, and Mindy McCready), Mark Collie (1 charting country
artist/songwriter), and John Jarvis (two-time grammy winning songwriter), Dani is incorporating both her loves, country and jazz, and plans to release a CD this coming fall. Though her significant talent is not easily categorized, her peers in the music industry have repeatedly recognized its depth and universal appeal. This CD is long awaited, much anticipated, and many times requested by her many fans across the country who have had the good fortune to hear her drop a torch vocal or two into the mix at the Bluebird Cafe as well as other venues from Nashville to California.
While in San Diego, she performed often with Elecktra recording artist Jason Mraz (’The Remedy’, ’You And I Both’) A favorite highlight of her career includes opening for Paul Simon and Bob Dylan.
Carroll moved from her native San Diego to Nashville in 2002 and
eventually inked a deal with publisher Famous Music. She continues to write songs with some of the top talents on Music Row. Her distinctive alto voice andriveting stage presence make her performances a memorable experience
for audiences in Music City and beyond.
