Danielle Davis is a new artist hailing from the Bay Area, a part of Northern California gaining increasing attention for the bevy of talent and individual style being harvested there. Danielle grew up in the small town of Newark, DE but made the move to the Bay Area Mecca at the age of 15. It was there that she honed and fine tuned the songwriting and vocal skills that are ultimately being showcased on her first project titled ‘Crash Course: The Prelude V.1’. Having written all the lyrics, melodies and harmonies with a few collaborations, Danielle also performed all the background vocals and arranged some of the actual music herself. The original tracks on her project are the product of the talented production team E & I (Sterlen Roberts and Pete Brown). This duo provided the hot musical element that allowed Dani D (as some like to call her) to continue to evolve and mold her sound. Featured on her first single “Strut” is Balance otherwise known as the Bay Area Mixtape King, this track is the perfect performance song and is sure to be a hit in the club circuit! Other notable songs that have garnered acclaim are Movin, Treat Me Right, Love Is Gone and Another Girl. With her MySpace page already blowing up with positive responses and as the public interest grows the buzz is starting to build. Danielle’s main goal right now is to take her music to the next level, to perform, sell and basically keep creating the most cutting edge music possible by pairing herself with other talented music makers to create something fresh and new for the music scene.
