BATTLECATS!
Dapper Dan is a prohibition era croquet superstar who is lost within the constraints of these modern times. The only thing that keeps me sane sometimes is my affiliation with the the nefarious outlaw group, the BATTLECATS! Posse. A staple on the eastern side of west street, The BATTLECATS! are the most dynamic group of musicians to ever come out of Maryland.
Recently, the CATS! have been on a creative hiatus, with each member pursuing their side projects. Jim Banjovi decided to produce an heir to the Banjo throne...young Oliver Remington. Chart-Toppin' Tim has been busy with a musical side-project, Nerds & Donkeys, or something like that.. As for me, I have used this time to get back to my BATTLECAT! roots, by drinking cheap beer and making inapropriate comments. I have found this to be the best prescription for my particular ailments.
Look for the new album soon, or better yet, reserve your copy today by giving me some cold, hard, cash... Or cold, delicious, beer... Better make it the latter.

The National Bohemian Croquet Invitational ..
The National Bohemian Croquet Invitational is one of the premier events in the Rogers Family Killer Croquet league, and the part of the "Triple Crown" of Croquet. It is an event that draws fierce competition, even fiercer smack talking, and the finest class of Drunken spectators that Millersville Maryland can provide.
This is an opportunity for the best of the best to prove their worth the Rogers way, with a big mallet. Though you will get to see the finest Croquet Superstar in the world, Dapper Dan, in action with his fellow proffesionals, You could have a shot at proving yourself worthy to play in their presence. The Greater Crouquet Council for Great Croquet, has deemed it appropriate to hold an amateur play-in round this year. This gives you, a common and lowly peasant, a chance to occupy the same court as the proven proffesionals that have already secured their position on the field.

The gallery walls will be transformed as a 15 artists come out from all over the world for a huge install collaboration. Thirty artists will be showcased. Each artist will showcase 20 pieces created on found objects that will be integrated into and inspire the overall installation, bringing the gallery back into the realm of street art. These found object works will retail for $20 - $40, keeping the art accessible and true to its roots.

Art Whino joins forces with Tagür Footwear to present Inked Souls, an exhibition featuring customized sneakers and fine art by 35 local, national and international leaders in the Pop Surrealism/Urban Contemporary art movement. Each featured artist will customize one pair of AKA Blank Tagür sneakers along with one painting on canvas.
Black Cats Resident DJ Lil'e will be spinning the night away.
