Already at a young age Daniela listened to the sound of the drums of her Dad and at the same time got inspired by the swings of her grandfather's baton. Well, none of the two really settled and so she started with flute lessions when she was 9. Her flute tones found a place in an orchestra in town, where she played her first solo part in „Pique Dame“.
But besides the sound of this „cross-piece“ Daniela was very interested in the vibrations of her vocal chords during her time in school. So she was part of several choires and founded together with Anne Stadler and Marion Roider the vocal group „gracious“. After returning from a youth camp she desperately wanted to play a certain song on the guitar, so she took her mum's guitar and tortured her fingers so long until they would do what she wanted – and established her craft in songwriting (well, it would have been a bit tricky just with the flute...).
Apart from her first composition „time to change“ in 1999 Daniela has written many other ballads, rock- and popsongs with style and sense. Being part of the vocal ensemble „[in'spaied]“ and her bands „gracious“ and „d'noiZe“ gave her the possibility to grow in her musicality, creativity and personality.
The decision to move to London in April 2007 was followed by great opportunities to share her talent in one of the world's greatest cities of music and art! „At the moment life is a big surprise for me“, says Daniela „I know that it's not in my hands, there's a plan for me. And that's what keeps me going, I know that there are people out there who need to hear what's on my heart.“
At the moment Daniela is working on her demo in a studio in London. Keep an eye and ear out for that one, you won't wanna miss it!

Well - our next thing is on 21st March - its a gig in Kilburn NW London and then we have one in the 12 bar cafe on Denmark Street on 26th March which should be cool - you should try and make it to one of them!
