About DANIEL ANGELUS

The 21 year old Daniel Angelus has earned the right of the title ''Britians rebirth of Glam/Electro/New Wave music'' and ''Hailed as the next David Bowie''. The young shining star who hails from Derby, England is set to take the world by storm progressively with catchy daring music, a unique distinctive electric vocal, lyrics of a teasing and touchy kind and a attitude fuelled with bohemian revolution. Daniel Angelus LIVE is a experience described as ''quirky obsessive excitement''. Releasing his debut album 'The Memory Sessions' on March 1st 2008 Daniel broke onto the music scene locally. Word spread and before long Daniel wrote and recorded the EP 'Synthetic Heartbeats' for release on January 1st 2009.

ABOUT SYNTHETIC HEARTBEATS: Synthetic Heartbeats came about when Daniel Angelus had various dreams in Stockholm, Sweden & Arizona, USA in 2008. The EP/Album is inspired by dreams that Daniel had in which Humans where at war with Machines across a vast empty desert. The dreams continued and eventually concluded in the love's of Daniel's life at the time about to die at the hands of a machine before waking up. Penning the first track ''Goodnight Sandee'' on a flight across America the album began to have a vision with the initial idea taking form beforehand on a balcony overlooking Stockholm. A fantasy story evolved from the dream that likens to a personal battle taking place in a mans mind. A battle likened to the war between human and machine. The album spans many feelings and emotions developed within Daniels mind and personal life. Deciding the album needed to be dark lyrically and emotionally, but musically upbeat recording began with the grand help of new producer Chris Harding. The result is ''Synthetic Heartbeats''. The 6 track EP out on January 1st to buy on hard copy and will be available to Download from iTunes and Amazon mp3.

nappyrashcollective	Nov 21 2008 11:16 PM hey daniel loved the new stuff {if only all the acts we put on would surprise us so}... anyway it reminded me of a leonard cohen mixed with a scissor sisters that were from east germany before the wall fell - a suggextion of love tempered with fear and trembling... your jacket reminded me of the 2nd world war - the one we're meant to feel good about and it fitted with the feel of the set... but all in all the songs gave me a feeling of uneasyness tempered with hope - scary yet at the same time a feeling of it can be better...or a darkness that is at the end of darkness... or even more quite simply just plain fucking ugly beautiful... and as such i salute you as an artist... much love anthony
