When you meet Daniel Badeie you’re at once struck with how he radiates a sense of utter presence. Meeting and interacting with people is something he is passionate about both on and off stage. He was 4 years old when he came to Sweden from war torn Iran and ever since his childhood in Uppsala, rock music has been the main thread in his life. Soon it has been 15 years since he performed on stage for the first time. Daniel Badeie..s main influences are rock music from the 1960s and 70s as well as alternative rock from the early 90s, which you can hear clearly when you listen to his work. His musical landscape is a mix of organs, strings and acoustic guitars that accompany Daniels powerful glowing voice which forms the basis of his music. The lyrics are often pervaded with a strong political awareness. He takes on a critical perspective of modern society and shows its unfair structures and silenced voices, a perspective derived from many years of observations and discussions. Now he makes music on his own terms. He is determined never to be one of those artists who are forced into compromising with their ideas. The only way we will ever see change in this world is if we step up and do something about it. There will be those who want to threaten you into silence so that you don't reveal the truth. But stand strong and stand up for what you believe in, refusing to let them have control over you. It is better to stand alone then to compromise everything you stand for and believe in just to be accepted by others. Great leaders are the ones who don't back down under pressure and continue to speak out despite what others say or think. Great leaders know the sacrifices they may have to make, but accept the responsibilities that are given to them no matter the cost. They don't back down to those who oppose them but do what they have to do when faced with trials. When others give in, they keep rising above because making a difference and making a change is what matters to them and they know that is their mission in life. In life, you can be a follower and just give in to the pressures and demands placed upon you by others so you can be accepted by the in crowd, or you can be a leader and step up, daring to speak out and take a stand in order to see a change and make a difference in this world. "There are two types of people who will tell you that you cannot make a difference in this world: Those who are afraid to try and those who are afraid you will succeed.”
