Delta Nove presents The Collab Lab weekly concert series taking place every Wednesday in Oct & Nov. at the Blue Cafe in downtown Long Beach, CA. Each night will feature 2 complete sets of music and will feature a very special guest artist playing with the band. We may be doing some of our guest's songs, some of our songs, some covers, and some total improvisation, we've left it up to each guest and what they want to do. A unique live experience taking place each week that you don't want to miss. Special collaboration guests include members of Ozomatli, Parliament/Funkadelic, String Cheese Incident, Black Crowes, the Mars Volta, Fishbone, Banyan, Karl Denson's Tiny Universe, Zilla and more TBA.

yeah, everythings great dude, you guys got away pretty lightly with the weather, at least 70 percent of all outdoor gigs these days in ireland end up as a mudbath. i got drenched on the sunday night of the festival, after 3 days out in a field, it was pretty harsh. where abouts did you stay in ireland? did you venture about much at the picnic or did you just stay backstage, it was some setup wasn't it, thats the best festival in ireland by a long shot.
shit man, that was some gig man. i was there man, front row centre. seriously amazin funk!! and ill tell you what i found amazing about this time round, i couldn't actually see how big the crowd was, but i know there were a lot of people, a good few probably never even heard of george clinton before the picnic, all i was hearin all weekend from passers by was, " who the fuck is this george clinton character, and why is he a headliner " this shocked me, and so i had words with many of these people on the subject. all i heard from people after was how good they thought it was, good job. this could very well be the rebirth of funk in ireland! no, seiously, i dragged a nice number of the lads to come see u guys, who were gonna go to a rave instead. lets just say u guys got a few more fans out this way. did you stay all weekend or just saturday?
