nominees for the providence phoenix's best music poll are out and i'm happy and humbled to be up for singer-songwriter act of the year. the past few months have been pretty intense for me, as i've transitioned from small town to "big" city and have been working hard to get my music out there. i'm fairly new to all of this, so to be in a category with such great friends and musicians is, in and of itself, a wonderful thing for me.
