Hi! My name is Daniel, I'm a singer/songwriter from Charleston, South Carolina. Right now I play and sing using an acoustic guitar, but I enjoy playing my electric as well :-) My life desire echoes Paul in 1 Corinthians 2v2: "For I am determined to know nothing while I am with you except Jesus Christ, and Him crucified." Everything in my life comes out of my relationship with my wonderful Savior! I know that the musical gifts I have are God-given, and in light of that I feel honored and called to use those gifts for both His Glory, and to be a blessing, encourager, and challenger of others. I don't believe that I could ever stand on a stage and leave people with just a song, I believe that a song is just an entrance to a message...I believe that when you leave people with a song, you leave them with something that is fleeting and passing. So, normally I build my songs around some message....maybe something I've seen, heard, or read, and I usually try to bring the listening audience into that message because I believe that it will give them a greater appreciation and understanding of my songs. I have been privileged to be a missions leader with Teen Missions International (www.teenmissions.org) for the past four years, spending two months out of each of those four years overseas, in Africa, Europe, and South America. I often use illustrations and examples out of this journey's when I play.
