By the time Daniel de Bourg (aka DdB) was 19, he had not only toured the globe as one of the dance worlds elite but was already making waves in the music industry.
A record deal with Dreamworks in Los Angeles soon followed and de Bourg found himself in the studio with legends such as Tim and Bob, R Kelly and The Neptunes. It was in these sessions that de Bourg honed his skills as a singer-songwriter/producer and became known for his soulful tone and technical ability. DdB then returned home to pen hits for the UK & European R&B market and gained top 5 chart success with Jamelia and most recently Ironik.
Finally free from the contractual shackles of his previous record deal and a certain TV show,… de Bourg recently formed UK dance act DMT with Taz and Qualifide, who were quickly signed by Universal and ‘Touch You’, the debut single is penned for an ’09 release with the album soon to follow.
Currently recording and writing for numerous acts both sides of the Atlantic, DdB promises a solo album in the next year, with rumours of the likes of Tim & Bob, R Kelly & many other big hitters involved, watch this space…
