......Graphic arts, classic cars, drinking, art, writing, music, movies, clubs, armageddon theories, religions, people, rational thought, unity, irrational and abstract thought, clocks, travelling, anti-racism, performing, playing guitar, joking around, making an ass out of myself and the list will go on...
Music
......Hardcore, Metal, Death, Black, Industrial, Punk, Gothic, Death Rock, Electronic, Power Noize, Ambient, Blues, Jazz, Grindcore, Bluegrass, Classical, Country, Oldies, Classic Rock, Hip Hop. Rap, Old School R&B ect ect and by now you should see I am pretty much into everything under the sun...
Movies
........Fight Club, The 5th Element, Punch Drunk Love. Donnie Darko, O' Brother Where Art Thou, Cannibal Holocaust, Zombie, Gummo, Meet The Feebles, Dolemite, The Mac, Shaft, A Christmas Story, Goonies, The Outsiders, Payback, Return Of The Rebels, Happy Gilmore, City Of Lost Children, I Spit On Your Grave, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, They, The Exorcist, Scarface, Boyz In The Hood, American Me, American Pie, Hollywood Knights ect ect...I love all sorts of movies from gore to sap to comedies to horror. It's all in there.
Television
........I went for over 10 years without cable bothering with the antenna was a waste for me. I found that most TV these days is dogshit but what I enjoy is pretty much following a trend of my endless thirst for knowledge. These days I am tuning into MythBusters, Dirty Jobs, Grey's Anatomy, CSI (the OG one, fuck those other bites), Bones, House, History's Lost & Found, Without A Trace, Cold Case, WWE crap (yeah yeah, it's funny as hell), Metalacolypse (Dr Roxxo b-b-baby) and pretty much anything on the Documentary Channel.
Books
........Robert Frost, Ray Bradbury and many more. I've fell out of reading over the years. Something I should get back into.
Heroes
........Anyone who works hard to make some sort of change in their life and strive for some sort of goal instead of just sitting there and whining about their situations.
About me: ....I pride myself on the fact that I am a pretty surprising person when someone takes the time to get to know me. Whether it's my actual musical tastes, takes on life or my lifelong convictions, people are always taken back by the person who's buried under a stereotypical exterior. I like to joke around a lot and I am pretty vulgar at times but I also know how to shut up, be serious and help out a friend during a rough period. If I see something that's fucked up in a situation I am going to say something about it. I am not out to change anyone or change myself for anyone unless it's warranted. I live life under the notion that this is my only chance to live, I am going to do everything I've ever wanted because when I am laying on my death bed I want to look back and be satisfied with everything I've ever took on. I am not one of those people who will claim you're my best friend and that "I love you man" when I am drunk unless I mean it. I am very very dedicated to my friends and what I do in life, almost to the point that I neglect myself in almost every way possible. I have made a lot of connections in my life and I will do anything to help out the people who let me into their hearts. I believe that knowledge is free and to not share what you know with others is a travesty.
I sing in a band called CREMATORIUM from Los Angeles and I play guitar in THE DOLEMITE PROJECT from Los Angeles as well. I have a project I do from time to time called 8THDAYEXTINCTION which is a band that has two sides. When I bring in other people it's super heavy, yet melodic doom but when I do it on my own it's a progressive rhythmical noise / electronica project. For some reason I got a hair up my ass to start a one man recording project called FUN TRUCKING WITH SATAN. I also just realize that two of the first bands I openly played guitar in have a MySpace as well so check them out if you're bored... PRIDEKILLER and SKUMBREED.
When I am not playing music myself I am mixing bands at the Knitting Factory in Hollywood CA or booking and promoting shows through my upstart company called the Church of the 8th Day. As time goes on, the Church is pretty much becoming my main focus in life but I ask that if you're in a band you read my blog about bands contacting me.
I am always looking to make friends so don't be alarmed if I contact you out of nowhere.
Who I'd like to meet: ........Anyone who has a head on their shoulders instead of up their ass.
