Daniel D Moses | Freelance Filmmaker/Photographer's Blurbs
About me:
“All singing, all dancing, all directing, writing, shooting and cutting- this is the collaborative process that filmmaking is rooted in and it’s the only way I know how to make films. Like most filmmakers I picked up my dad’s camera aged 10 and have rarely been seen without one in my hands since! Images and sounds and the way they work together still fascinates me. Film has a power that no other medium shares in demonstrating the complexity and emotional subtlety of life other then our own.” ~ DANIEL D MOSES~
Daniel is a creative photographer and filmmaker who views the world in a series of shots, cuts and sounds. His passion for moving and still images result in innovative productions that manage to entertain and inform.
Daniel has directed 2 original short films “Motion, Agreed….Carried” and “The Rabbi” and 2 documentaries “Remembering Richard” and “YPTC presents.… Flamingo Blues”. Successful past projects have been managed and created in the various sectors of film, documentary, performance, corporate, event and charity; and showcased as part of in- house programmes, during events, in publications and online.
Working with DV, HDV and D-SLR cameras and editing with Apple software Final Cut, allows for a high quality production process that includes authoring and editing video, images, graphics, audio and web design. A self-taught musician (guitars, harmonica and vocals) with an eclectic musical palette, Daniel enjoys travelling, has been a runner and a researcher in film and TV and a stage manager in theatre.
His passions as a photographer, musician and filmmaker allow him to continue his creative quest for artistic accomplishment in producing interesting, innovative and entertaining work. Daniel is available for any sort of filmmaking (documentary, short, commercial) and photography (headshots, film stills, charity). For his portfolio please visit his website at www.DanielMoses.com or have a look at his pictures here on MySpace, Flickr and YouTube
He loves talking about himself in third person. Especially when writing his own bio…
