DANIELE BILANGIERI is born in Livorno on March 8th, 1976. Since he was a child, he shows a strong interest in music and everything that has black and white keys. He starts studying as self-taught and wrote his first compositions at the age of 18. A growing love for classical music and the desire to expand his musical horizons both theoretical and technical, lead him, at the end of 2006, to join the course of piano at the Istituto Superiore di Studi Musicali "Pietro Mascagni" of Livorno following the ministerial ordinary course. In 2008, he enrolled simultaneously in the course of composition. Assiduous and attentive listener to all music in general and in particular to the instrumental (classical and contemporary), he combines traditional studies and writing piano compositions for a real need of personal expression.

In the October 2009 he recorded his first demo CD "Piano solo" and is currently writing the complete scores. They will be eventually available for publishing in the coming months. All the compositions on this site are under SIAE deposit.
His favorite classical composers are, mainly: Chopin, Liszt, Beethoven, Bach, Rachmaninoff and Prokofiev.
His favorite pianists are, for classical: Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli, Krystian Zimerman, Glenn Gould and Valentina Lisitsa; for contemporary Keith Jarrett.
Finally, he is interested in every manifestation of Art in general and in particular of Literature, Painting and Photography. A passion, the latter, to which he dedicated himself actively. The background photo of this page is called "Scent of dew" and was taken during a summer morning.

DANIELE BILANGIERI nasce a Livorno l'8 marzo 1976. Mostra sin da piccolo uno spiccato interesse per la musica e per tutto ciò che abbia dei tasti bianchi e neri. Inizia a studiare da autodidatta e a 18 anni scrive le sue prime composizioni. Un crescente amore per la musica classica e il desiderio di estendere i propri orizzonti musicali sia sul piano teorico che tecnico lo porta, alla fine del 2006, ad iscriversi al corso di pianoforte presso l'Istituto Superiore di Studi Musicali "Pietro Mascagni" di Livorno seguendo il programma ministeriale dei corsi ordinari. Nel 2008 è iscritto contemporaneamente anche al corso di composizione. Ascoltatore assiduo ed attento di tutta la musica in generale e in particolare della strumentale (classica e contemporanea), abbina agli studi tradizionali la scrittura di composizioni per pianoforte per una reale necessità di espressione personale.

Nell'ottobre del 2009 è stato registrato il suo primo CD demo "Piano solo". Le partiture complete sono in fase di stesura e saranno rese disponibili nei prossimi mesi per un'eventuale pubblicazione. Tutte le composizioni presenti sul sito sono state depositate presso la SIAE.
I suoi compositori classici preferiti sono, principalmente: Chopin, Liszt, Beethoven, Bach, Rachmaninov e Prokofiev.
