About Dani

Dani used to pay money to record in studios. Now she records for free in her kitchen. She finds inspiration for her songs in every day things. She’s been playing since she was 13. For some reason she can’t stop, though she sometimes takes long breaks. She hopes to start writing more cheerful music in the future, though she finds it easiest to write when she’s feeling melancholy. She’s a pretty happy person, and the last few years have treated her well... so lately there haven’t been as many songs.

The Invasion will be playing their first show at the VAC on Wednesday with Le Fleur, The Universal, and The Neon Trees. This is one of the best local lineups, and we've heard great things about the sound in the VAC!
