As Daniel grew up he took in influences from the grunge scene (Nirvana, Pearl Jam), the Brit Pop movement (Blur, Suede), and also classic bands such as The Who, Pink Floyd, and The Jam.

It was at this point that he decided to not only play the perfect rift, but to create music of his own. He began to write songs and spent his youthful years playing in a few grunge/indie bands before gathering the courage to perform solo.

Daniel went to Liverpool at the end of the nineties and studied popular music. It was here Daniel discovered folk, blues, lo-fi, and other forms of music which changed his writing styles. He began performing solo at various venues in Liverpool before moving back to southern England.

Now, Daniel has begun recording and performing again.

With songs influenced by artists such as Iron and Wine, David Gray, and John Butler, and drawing from indie, folk, and blues styles, Daniel has been described as a singer/songwriter of the likes of Damien Rice.

Daniel is currently playing in venues around London whilst recording his first EP.
