Also, Evil Dead II (my nickname in film school was "Evil Dan," because I wouldn't shut up about this movie). | | Television | Top 3: Battlestar Galactica, The Shield, and Mad Men. (I haven't seen all of THE WIRE yet, but it's on my Amazon.com wish list). | | Books | The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay, A Prayer For Owen Meany, The Stand, In Cold Blood, To Kill A Mockingbird. Oh, and Goodnight Moon. It's short, but sweet. | | Heroes | Sam Raimi, Bruce Campbell, Frank Darabont, Amelia Earhart, Steven Spielberg, Marie Curie, George Lucas, Steve Jobs, Kurt Russell, and every teacher I've ever had - even the ones that taught math. |

About me:
I'm a writer/director based in New York City (or wherever else my projects happen to take me). For the past couple of years, I've been working on a new animated film titled ARTICLES OF WAR. I was raised in northcentral Wisconsin, went to film school at NYU, and I love everything about making movies, except for writing these little autobiographical blurbs. "I Suck At The Blurbs" is going to be the title of my future autobiography, and it's going to be one sentence long.
