|
| Bio | Described as edgy and outspoken, Daniella's comedy "training" actually began in 1987 when she was forced to take the bus to high school every day. Her quick wit, and ability to diffuse daily harassment with humor made her a favorite with nerds and underdogs alike. Continuing on her path toward a future rich with insecurity, she completed her high school education, and made the decision to forget about going to college, instead, landing a sweet gig as full time cashier at a local sporting goods store. Fast forwarding through 4 jobs and 10 years, it was after being laid off from her job as a graphic designer at a sinking ship company, that she decided it was time to try her hand at stand-up comedy.
Performing for audiences all over New England, Daniella has quickly made a name for herself on the comedy scene. Engaging the audience with her brains, beauty, and charm, Daniella rocks the stage with a confident, tell-it-like-it-is attitude keeping the audience engaged, laughing, and left wanting more.

Boston Fun Fact: One of Boston's most treasured landmarks is the flashing weather beacon that sits atop the old John Hancock Tower, now the Berkeley Building. The tower began forecasting the weather, using predictions from a meteorological company on the 26th floor, in 1950. Its predictions inspired a poem:
Steady blue, clear view
Flashing blue, clouds due
Steady red, rain ahead
Flashing red, snow instead.
(Except in summer, when it means the Red Sox game is canceled.)

- the kind of people who, when they find out I do stand-up, won't say "you're not going to put me in your act are you?" or "tell me a joke!"
- the kind of people who inspire me to be a better person.
- the guy who narrates Frontline so I can ask him if he'll read to me before bed.
- the kind of people who know that you're supposed to park BETWEEN the lines in a parking space.

- people who are outgoing, well spoken, fun, can make me laugh so hard my stomach hurts, thoughtful, sincere, quick-witted, nice, open-minded, true to themselves, confident, respectful, know that other people exist in the world besides themselves, can appreciate the little things in life, honest, passionate, compassionate, know the true meaning of friendship and family, and people with integrity.
