With a soothing voice and soulful songwriting, Daniel Lawrence Walker is tapping into genre bending music, with a mean bottleneck
slide whipping around wildly throughout his live shows.
More than just a man and his guitar, Walker writes songs of love and
life - with compelling themes and stories wrapped around sophisticated
progressions. Weaving intelligent lyrics through seamless
rhythms comes naturally for this singer/songwriter who pens songs
with depth, emotion, and honest feelings with which many different
audiences can connect.
It doesn’t stop there for the Texas native. With every step along his
path, he has picked up a new flavor for his music. While attending
college in New Orleans, he soaked in the funk and zest for life that
inevitably seeps into the souls of those who live there. He pulls a slice
of Americana from his childhood and playing his first live shows in Fort
Worth, Texas. With a move to Denver in 2004, one can hear a new
expansive sound work in its way into Walker’s songwriting.
This songwriting is just one aspect of Walker’s talent. Playing both solo
and with a band presents a unique opportunity for Walker to showcase
his many abilities. When taking the stage with a rotating cast of
musicians. Daniel’s music is infused with contagious improvisational
energy. When sharing the stage with only his instruments. Walker is a
whole new monster. Playing on a loop he creates on-the-spot for
many songs. Walker builds his solo show around percolating acoustic
guitar rhythms and soulful singing, playing slide guitar over the top.
His hard work as a musician for the past ten years was rewarded when
he won the Acoustic Blues Competition at the 2004 Telluride Blues and
Brews Festival. He made return performances in 2005, performing
with the Sky at the Nugget Theatre in a late night juke joint show and
playing solo on Sunday’s Main Stage between Sonny Landreth and
Joan Osborne. He also performed as a solo act at the 2005 and 2006
South Pak Music Fests.

Great song! :) That restaurant I couldn't think of the name of earlier is called Lambert's. If you ever pass through a place that has one you should eat there. Seems like a place you would like if you get that excited over Uncle Bud's. http://www. throwedrolls. com/index. html
Have you been involved in any more incidents involving roosters today? :-) Hope you're having a good day! I also hope that you have not had anything else to eat or drink out of the mystery box!
