Applied spirituality, music / composition, quantum physics, metaphysics, oil painting, novel writing, rock hunting, screenplay writing, singing, acting, biblical history, oceanography, plate techtonics, camping high up in Montana, fishing (if I don't catch anything because I've now turned into a giant weenie) looking at the stars while by a bonfire in the middle of the night, eating. Geez, I love to eat.
Music
Eurythmics, Annie Lennox, Pink, Sheryl Crow, Johnny Cash, Live, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Enya, Dixie Chicks, Ann and Nancy Wilson, Beatles, anything 80's wave throwback -- Depeche Mode, Bau Haus, OMD, Tears for Fears, etc. -- Alison Krauss, Celine Dion, Madonna, Gloria Estefan, Nickel Creek, Moody Blues, Melissa Etheridge, Josh Grobin, Sarah Brightman, Gershwin, Shakira, Enigma, Andrea Bocelli, Aimee Mann, and so many Indies that I would take up an entire page listing them, so I'll only throw up a few: Push Start Wagon, Dan Page and The Barn Cats, Soul Brat, Laura Cohn, and the Native American Axeman, Paul Underwood, the "Toadster"!
Movies
I love movies!!! I watch a ton of them. Here are just a few that I dig quite a bit: Akeela and The Bee ; Alien(s) ; Brokeback Mountain ; Hellboy (1 & 2) ; Sweeney Todd ; It's a Wonderful Life ; 1408 ; Million Dollar Hotel ; The Devil Wears Prada ; The Sound Of Music ; Momento ; any M. Knight Shaymalan movie ; Finder's Fee ; War of the Worlds (both orignal and remake) ; Girls Will Be Girls [HYSTERICAL!!!!] ; Bubba Hotep ; Blades of Glory ; B-Sci Fi's; Polar Express ; On Golden Pond ; Shawshank Redemption ; any Christmas movie where someone has a dead parent who comes back as an angel ; O Brother Where Art Thou?
Television
Here are the shows that have once or are currently filling up my Tivo: Deadliest Catch (I LOVE MY CRAB BOYS!!!) ; Saving Grace (Grace is such a sh*thead, but I love her!) ; The Closer (GOOO Brenda Johnson -- thank yeeeeew!) ; Dirty Jobs ; Ice Road Truckers ; Black Gold ; Heroes ; Journey Man ; Supernatural ; Most Haunted ; Ghost Hunters ; Ghost Hunters International ; UFO Hunters ; 4400 ; Medium ; Ghost Whisperer ; The L Word ; Masters of Horror (though it's been scaring the crap out of me this season -- eeks); X-Files (SCULLY RULES!) ; Discovery Science ; Law and Order SVU ; Star Trek -- Original, Next Generation, Voyager ; The Dead Zone ; South Park ; Simpsons ; Ab Fab ; Reno 911 ; Strangers With Candy
Books
I hate to admit it, but I am an informational reader -- when I do read, it's never much fiction. I read the web like an encyclopedia. Or I read "How-To" books, such as the legal workings of film and TV. I know. It's weird. I do a lot of non-fiction works: "Autobiography of a Yogi" ; "Your Word is Your Wand" and all of Florence Scovill Shinn's Spiritual books; "Course of Miracles" ; "Quantum Relationships" ; "This Business of Music" by Donald Passman ; Or if it is a rare fiction occasion, anything by Tom Robbins or Stephen King.
Heroes
Anyone who reaches outside of themself to another person, even for a flash. People who choose growth over bitterness. Kind people, who don't need to make others feel rotten about themselves in order to have some fragile sense of their own identity. My grandparents, because they bucked up, made amazing contributions to the world, and weren't whiners.
About me: IT'S OUT! The trailer for the paranormal documentary I directed / starred in, "Montgomery House: The Perfect Haunting" - Check it out, and come be a friend to my movie at myspace.com/MontgomeryHouseHaunting !!
Hi you guys! :) Many of you might know me from a few random places -- Film, TV, my own music, my band Pope Jane, my paranormal practice, in Sheena Metal's Beer Bong, or my radio shows. Others of you might just be meeting me for the first time as some weird chick on MySpace posing in photos where I'm wearing a guitar strap, which is all good, too :)! I love to meet new and old friends and fans, and I use MySpace to stay in touch with you guys while not only at home, but while I'm on the road.
Hey, before we get too far into this, please subscribe yourself to my newsletter so I can keep you in the loop on where I'll be and what I'm doing, just incase I'm touring or making an appearance in your neck of the woods! You could come out and say HI -- you know, that whole human-to-human thing -- I mean, how novel would THAT be?
This is my personal page, and I'm glad you're here! But if you you're looking for my MySpace Music Page, with information on my latest album release RED LODGE on Maurice The Fish Records, you can find it here: www.myspace.com/danielleegnew. Or, if you just want my music and don't wanna be bothered surfing through 100 pages to get there, you can go ahead and download all of my albums including RED LODGE from one easy juke-box below -- or pick and choose your favorite singles. Over 85 of my songs and ringtones are available, so go nuts, and have fun!
When I'm not doing music, I do a tremendous amount of work in the field of metaphysical advisory, channeling, teaching, writing, healing, and paranormal research. The latter is a lot of fun, and my background in audio recording and sound science comes in REALLY handy when evaluating paranormal evidence like EVP’s (Electronic Voice Phenomenon – the capturing of disembodied voices and sounds on electronic equipment.) As a Clairvoyant Channel, I have my own private practice here in Los Angeles, and channel all sorts of fascinating information for the highest good and healing of my clients. In the Clairvoyant advisory capacity, I have been fortunate to have worked with Fortune 500 Executives, Hollywood Studio Heads, and Law Enforcement here and in other states. I do enjoy teaching classes on Spiritual gifts and abilities, though I haven't had much of a chance to do that lately with media and touring schedule, but I will have seminars I’ll be spearheading in 2009, so I’ll keep you guys updated on where I’ll be and when!
I have also been part of some great paranormal investigation teams, including my own rad (yup, I said “rad”) group -- The Western Pacific Paranormal Alliance . Most recently, I had a great time joining with an amazing paranormal team -- South Sound Paranormal Research -- during the filming of the (scary!!) paranormal documentary I directed in November of 2008, up in Kalama, WA. What a phenomenal experience. I had the chance to interview Roy Wilson, Honorary Chief and Shaman of the Cowlitz Tribe, and having Cherokee and Lakota in my lineage, I felt very blessed to have been in the audience of such an amazing tribal elder. This is going to be a FANTASTIC film, you guys, and I'm not just saying that because it's my picture -- so keep your eyes peeled for news on my film's exciting release in early 2009!!
Meet the wonderful companies that endorse me - I'm not just saying they are fantastic because they endorse me, either. I accepted endorsement offers from them BECAUSE their products really are terrific!

'Article for the short film "God is an Under Achiever" DJ MONKEY song /video by Dennis Schraub and Joey Alkes'
Schraub and Alkes created two edits of the short film and choosing between them would be as unwelcome a task as choosing between Coltrane’s two edits of 'Ascension'. The comparison is apt. 'God is an Underachiever' is as difficult, moving and inspiring in it’s right as the much written about late Coltrane. - Al Eaker, in Fringe Cinema 4/2009
