Wide variety of influences from Eva Cassidy, Eddie Reader, Carla Thomas, Aretha franklin and Dusty Springfield to The Doors and the Cure, to Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack, to Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughn and Billy Holiday! I know it's a weird mixture but I grew up listening to my Dad's records (yes records!) and I have him to thank for a lot of my musical education! He's always been into loads of different styles of music so I got a good mixture of everything! I love singing Mowtown and Blues as well as Punk, Rock, Big Band and Jazz.

Danielle has been singing in various choirs, bands and shows from a young age, developing her own vocal style along the way. Currently she sings with new band "The Effectives", covering tracks from Northern Soul to 60s garage and Freakbeat, as well as writing original songs and trying to re-capture the sound of the sixties.
Additionally, Danielle makes up a half of acoustic act Seventh Song, covering songs from the sixties to current chart hits. So if you're looking for a more unique acoustic act, just have a look at their myspace page!

dressing up eh?? i love it! yeah any excuss to do some fancy dress and i'm there. roz will prob come too, if thats ok. i'm actually going to london as shrek on tuesday for a staff party. well things are shit really, i've been spending all my time indoors trying to prepare coursework etc for my exams for the 19th, so i'm missing out on all the quality weather, and to make things worse i've recently got r.s.i in my hand so things could be better right now! but dressing up will def make things better!!x
