She was singer of the band "Space Cowboys" from 1989-1995 and of the Ocean Club together with Gudrun Gut from 1994 - 1996. Currently she is touring internationally with the multimedia performances which she produces together with her husband Alexander Hacke. Danielle De Picciotto's memoir of Berlin, "The Beauty of Transgression" will be published by Die Gestalten in April 2011.

It brings together her accounts of musicians, fashion designers, and club owners as well as other artists and their milieus with unique first-hand descriptions of milestone places and events. It is not only a fascinating collection of stories about key individuals, but also gives an authentic and detailed overview of why Berlin has become one of the most appealing metropolises for creatives from around the world.

All copies ordered ordered here or through the Hitman's Heel websites will be signed and include a tiny drawing.

Danielle will be presenting and reading from it on the 15th of April 2011 at the Neurotitan Gallery in Berlin, at 22h which is also the opening of the exhibition "My Secret Diary". Alexander Hacke will accompany her with music soundscapes.

The video was shot in Tulum Mexico with Vincent Signorelli (Unsane) and Algis Kizys (Swans).
The song is dedicated to friendship.
The concert footage was recorded in Prague together with Chris Hughes.

News! Danielle has finished her new documentary "How Long Is Now" -here is a small clip of the film.

Her first essay has been published by the Reimer Company in a book called " Künstlerische Transformationen" and can be ordered on line now. At the "Glow" video exhibition in March 2010 she presented her first short movie which will be followed by five more during the year to then be released as a box set in 2011.The short movies are made up of super 8 material she filmed between 1990 and 2000. The first one to be shown is "The Glasshouse" and describes the artists last day in NYC in 1987. The story has a shocking twist in the end and received high recognition.
