Greetings! My name is Danielle and I am twenty one years old. I have been performing since I was six years old, and singing since, well, before I can
remember. Singing and acting are my passion, my life, my dream. I am very determined to make it big someday, and I know that as long as you hold your head
up and go for your dreams, they will come true. I also love to swim, hang out with family and friends, be around animals, play any sport just for fun,
and enjoy myself in every way that I can. I should mention that I was born blind, but that’s only a small part of who I am and it doesn’t, by any means,
affect my determination to be successful. In singing, I am classically trained, but my passion, of course, is contemporary music. I have performed at places
such as Spring Fest 2005 and the Florida Strawberry festival. I have also had my songs played on AM 1490 and the popular 98 Rock, which was very exciting.
Competing and showcasing rank up there as the most exciting aspects of performing for me. When I was twelve, I entered my first out of state competition
in Nashville, and won. Then at thirteen, I entered the STARRS showcase and learned so much. I also met my amazing voice coach, Mark Goff (who could be
seen on the very first season of "Making the Band". Has worked with such names as the Backstreet Boys, Creed, Christina Milian, Fireflight, and many more).
In 2002, I entered the Best new Talent showcase in Los Angeles, California and I entered singing categories, and competed in acting for the first time.
I finished in the top 20%. Then the next year I entered the USA World Talent Showcase in Las Vegas, finished in ninth place out of 22,000 contestants,
and won the Most Photogenic award in the teen division. In 2007, I performed in the Ignition Conference and Showcase, and won the grand prize, which included
recording an original single in Phoenix, Arizona, where I had the opportunity to work with Grammy nominated songwriter, Aaron Rice, among other professionals
in the recording industry. As mentioned earlier, I have performed at many events throughout Florida and I compete as much as I can. I recently became a vocalist for the local band Hwy41, and I am very excited to begin this journey! Recording is another
of my favorite things about performing. I recorded a three-song demo in 2004, and another in 2007, both produced by Thomas Michael Dale, who is an absolute
joy to work with. My love for recording has also lead me to pursue a session singing career; I love being on stage, but I love helping other artists out with backup vocals or jingle-singing. I just love the studio! All of the songs on this page are original (lyrics, music, arangement by me), so I hope you enjoy them.:-) Actingwise, I have done a
few plays, I have over ten years in theatre training, and I have appeared in a local commercial in two student films. I am a very determined person and
I will do whatever it takes to pursue my dreams. Performing is far more than a desire in my life; it is a necesity, and that is the mindset one must have
in order to become truly successful. I also look forward to getting to know new people, so feel free to contact me at any time.

7750 Nature’s Love of Indigo Blue 29 September 2009
I looked out, and saw your heart, Across the sky, in colours of indigo blue In every breath I did take In my love of thinking of you I could feel your voice Every thought on your mind I looked to God, and asked Can you be kind
Because your voice was Whispering in my soul I could hear you as you did pray If only there was love To love you some day
To know you were there To feel every beat of your heart For what did it take To be together, - and no longer be apart Because you were who I am You were my breath and my blood Oh how I loved you, and then from my eyes the tears would flood
Because your voice was Whispering in my soul I could hear you as you did pray If only there was love To love you some day
I want what nature says I cannot have My desire to hold you, Bringing you into my arms Ever closer, - Ever, forever with you Across the sky, in colours of indigo blue And every time I see a rainbow You are there on my mind To ask God, - Can you be kind
Because your voice was Whispering in my soul I could hear you as you did pray If only there was love To love you some day
If only there was love Nature’s love To love you some day

7634 Hand of Starlight 09 August 2009
Put a star in the sky, paint your face Take a handful of promise, endure in that of grace
Walk upon a rainbow, feel all the love you have to give When it may not always be summer, it might not always be the season to dream
You might want to say goodbye to tomorrow, you may feel that in a pain of sorrow As you reach out and touch that inside, the one you love, the painting of pride
Where the stars in the sky, where those of your vision alone And when you held out your hand You knew, the hand you, were holding was mine
Thank you so much for your friendship and support!!! It was so incredible to have my song on The Saturday Night House Party with Brian Fink and DJ Jaime Ferreira this weekend! Lots of love, Lexa
