| About Danielle Renee |
Danielle Renee is a singer/songwriter whose dynamic voice represents a new generation in popular music. Her styles range from soulful to sweet, to gritty to sensual, depending on where her inspiration takes her. By no mistake, this 24 year old's rich vocal delivery brings alive any song she touches.
Danielle Renee discovered her dream and love for music as young as four years old when she began singing along to Judy Garland, her first influence, as well as other various singers from movies and pop music that inspired her. By the age of ten, she began taking piano lessons, and shortly following, professional vocal lessons in classical, jazz, and pop. Soon after she entered college, Danielle began recognizing her talents in songwriting, beginning by co-writing with other musicians, and eventually writing her own songs on the piano.
Like some of her influences, such as Sade, Rachelle Ferrell, and Alicia Keys, Danielle Renee has the ability to make any song hers by adding her own touch of soul, jazz, and blues into her music. She also, like Aretha Franklin and Mariah Carey, can belt it out with the best.
With the help of local songwriters, producers, and musicians, Danielle Renee has just completed a four song debut CD which will also serve as her demo. This disc includes the song "Can't Stay Away", which Danielle has written herself. This demo has been a wonderful vehicle to introduce her to the music world and to showcase both the beauty and power of her voice.
Danielle Renee will continue to record several more new original songs to complete her first professional album, which is expected to be released by the fall of 2007.
