Playing guitar has taken Daniel Luthjohn to many exciting places. From the top of Aspen Mountain, to the beaches of Hilton Head Island, there are few musicians who get to experience such sites and places. At the age of 18 Daniel formed his first band to compete in several major music competitions in Estes Park and Lyons, Colorado. Shortly after Daniel would hit the local music scene. While still under-age, Daniel played at many bars and pubs in the Denver and Boulder area learning to be a blues player. Daniel fine tuned his skills on the guitar studying with other local Colorado musicians. In 2003 Daniel took a position as lead guitarist for Atlanta, Georgia based violinist Bobby Yang. With Bobby, Daniel would have many exciting opportunities to play, including events for: Kevin Costner, Bruce Willis, Don Johnson, Antonio Banderas, John Denver's children, Ed Bradley, and many more. Daniel currently resides in Thornton, Colorado working as a producer and songwriter. Daniel also teaches Guitar in his spare time. For information on lessons or studio time with Daniel, please feel free to contact him here on Myspace, or at guitarsession@gmail.com
D-Dawg! What's up bro!? I'm in K.C., don't know if you might want to come out with John for this conference, otherwise I hope to see you in a week or so!
Hey man! I'm off for Thanksgiving this whole week, so we should hang out and do some music, and you and Nathan and I should hit up Best Buy or Guitar Center for the big Black Friday sale this weekend. I'll give you a call this week man, I'll talk to you later.
im coming to colorado on friday afternoon... i have a wedding on sat, and sunday will be coming to boulder... unfortunetly i didnt get to come out for the week.... im so sad about that... but i have to see you this weekend at least for a little.... email me your # so i can call you when im there, and ill email you mine...
Sounds awesome man, I'm glad you made it there without getting jumped, and it sounds like the Cun is sweet. I'm definitely jealous of the pics.
We should do some more work on your song on maybe Friday or Saturday. I got Reason running and figured out Redrum, so I threw that drum beat in there that you were talking about (sounds really sweet). I also filled out some MIDI for the rest of it, so you can tell me what you think when you get here and we can work from there.
Hope the rest of your trip is awesome, I'll see ya when you get back, man. I'll be praying for a safe flight for you guys.
Hey dude. It's really great to see that you have followed your vision and have a studio, have recorded, and continue to expand your craft. Good for you! I'm working on putting together a blues/folk "old school" gig band. We're thinking about calling ourselves Greybead...since we all have one. I've been practicing harmonica...easier to carry than a keyboard! Hope all is well...
ummm.... I totally don't get the construction worker thing?? you'll have to explain that to me cuz I'm guessing it's a joke that has gone completely over my head!
And one more thing.... I just saw that video of your Art & Lutherie... That's what I have! I didn't think anyone else in the world had one of those Canadian things. Eh? Get it, that's a Canadian joke.... :P
I'm a legal assistant at a law firm in the Beverly Hills area. So what are you doing for work, are you a pro musician now or what? Yeah, you'll have to let me know when you come through. That'll be crazy to see you! Are you touring with anyone right now?
