Daniel Luttick began an intense and undying passion for rhythm and music began at age three. Since that time Daniel has played and studied with some of the best players in his native Australia, even travelling to the USA, studying with the best in the world, notably, Dom Famularo, Jim Chapin, Joe Morello and Virgil Donati.
Hailing from Melbourne, Australia; Daniel has spent years developing and mastering his skills on the drums, becoming a near obsessive player, relentlessly developing, moulding, maintaining his ideas while searching for new and exciting concepts. Mind-blowing hand technique along with an increasing level of showmanship and endurance plus simply amazing double bass drum playing all play an important role in crafting Daniel’s individual sound on the drums.
Daniel has appeared in international drum publications DrumScene(AUS) and Modern Drummer(USA), and was voted Australia’s Up and Coming Drummer competition winner for 2002. After establishing and recording with his own fusion act, Xtreme Measures, performing with Australian Metal monsters Synthetic Breed and having performed clinics in Tokyo, Ireland and also performing at the Mendoza International Drum Festival (Argentina, 2006), Daniel is certainly carving a name for himself on the Australian and International music scene.
