hello, i'm Daniel. I write and tell stories and write and sing songs, and sometimes bring the two together, writing stories with music and performing them.
I work as a musician in a variety of bands including The Magic Number (the swing band- not the other one!), The Big Hairy Band and The Hat. I'll put them all in the top 8 thingy so you can check them out if you so choose.
I've just got a little home studio thingy and these tracks are ones that i made over a 2 week period with logic 7. playing on the tracks are Bruce Stevens on tuba, Will Rumfitt on trombone, Mike Simmonds on violin/viola and backing vocals, Sam Walker on Piano and backing vocals and me on everything else. Let me know what you think!
You can check me on tour with The Adventurists with my friend Sam Walker. Message us if you'd like us to come to your town
I also made a one man show at last years edinburgh festival, called 'The Things People Do To Fall In Love'- which is a collection of stories, songs, and storysongs all about people going to extremes to fall in love.
