Dans next single and a fave of mine for a while now- IMPOSSIBLE this is a mellow version though, love it! xx This page has been set up by a huge Daniel Merriweather fan. I have so many friends from all over the world via our passion for Daniel's music and I'm so glad that I did this site now. Its made me some great and special memories so far and things haven't even really begun for Dan. 2009 is going to be such a HUGE year for him and I'm so proud to have supported him for the past few years.     hey trish! i thought id start an aussie page coz i was getting really frustrated with how little publicity he gets here. especially when he came down in june and i spent so much time trying to find out any tv, radio and other public appearances he was making. dunno if my page is helping the cause lol i hope it counts for something. its cool that nathan likes my page coz i love his discography! you must be so excited now with Dan embarking on his UK tour its awesome. he's coming back down under in december, i cant wait =)

    Hey Trish! How are you? I went with Ange to see Daniel Merriweather yesterday too. I totally agree with everything she said. It was the best!! Seeing him on stage in Melbourne again, was just fantastic! He was sooo nice. Wish he had some other gigs here. He'll be leaving in a couple of days:(

    i saw dan on a talk show called Rove. He performed Change with Phrase and i was in the audience. we werent allowed to take photos or get autographs. security was really tight. in guessing coz the prime minister was on the show too lol. but he...umm...kinda spoke to my friend and i. i waved at him and he waved back if that counts. and when he finished singing Change we were yelling "RED" and he looked at us and asked us if we wanted him to do another song and we're like, "YES" so that was pretty much it lol but still totally memorable!! 

    i completely understand. my whole family and i are devastated. MJ is the reason why i love music and dancing. so yeah i know what you mean. It was kinda hard to be all happy and excited about Dan being in melbourne because i was so sad about MJ. coincidentally, it was breaking news during Dan's performance on a morning show

    yeah you're right festivals are really expensive im getting tickets for one called Parklife at the moment and its about $150 (dunno what that is in pounds sorry) but its an awesome line up so im going. Dan said on the radio that he's coming back to OZ to do some shows in a few months time...YAY!!! i hope he keeps his word. fingers crossed =]

    ok ill stop writing my essay now...

    long time no speak...how have you been?

    i felt this was the best place to express how happy i am that i saw daniel merriweather yesterday (as in sunday). ive been fanatically trying to find out where he is gonna be when he is in melbourne lol (without sounding too stalker-ish). he was so sweet and polite and i never really noticed how rosy his cheeks are til yesterday haha

    aaargh! it was the best =D

    are you going to go to all the festivals he is performing at during the lovely UK summer?

    he's not promoted as much as he should be in australia and it frustrates me! no.5 is fantastic! i love red, its my fave song on the album. and i love getting out too. the whole album is just pure greatness. i guess the UK has good taste when it comes to music thats why dan is doing so well there. if only top of the pops still existed i love that show he would totally be on it lol

    Daniel Merriweather releases his debut album 'Love & War' next Monday, but with Napster you can hear it as many times as you would like from TODAY! It is a brilliant, listenable, funky album which will turn him into a household name and includes his first solo hit 'Change' and current single 'Red'

    ok so 'change' debut at no.47 on the aria charts (australian charts). now top 50 is great but i want him at no.1. or in the top 20 at least! c'mon aussies buy the single!

    How good was Daniel on Jools Holland. I didn't think i could love 'Cigarettes' any more until now.
    Does anyone else think Daniel might need to invest in a new pair of trousers ? couldn't help but notice that he had a hole in the pair he was wearing. Bless him ! Roll on the 3rd Woooohooo
