Daniel Somma (un tempo CDE MusiX) è un produttore in erba di musica nel campo elettronico (chill-out, dance, trance, progressive...). Guadagna le sue prime esperienze creative suonando il pianoforte a 7/8 anni, ascoltando musica mainstream e anni 90 e, all'età di 14 anni, componendo il suo primissimo pezzo Ambient/Dance utilizzando un sequencer tracker, ScreamTracker 3, a quel tempo ormai datato, andando a conoscere prima il mondo della scena demo degli anni 90, e poi progressivamente quello della moderna digital music e i suoi relativi software di studio virtuale. E' nel 2006 che iniziò a produrre musica usando finalmente il suo primo (ed ora ancora usato) sequencer Audio/MIDI FL Studio. Al giorno d'oggi sta continuando a produrre per raffinare le sua capacità produttive e creative, studiando la musica e le tecniche di ogni genere musicale, cercando di raggiungere livelli semi-professionali (per il momento), e cercando di scoprire il suo stile di vita in chiave musicale. Grazie anche ad Internet, quindi ad alcune piccole comunità per produttori (come CTGMusic, TraxInSpace ed altre), e alla sua conoscenza di Inglese, ha conosciuto anche molti altri amici che hanno lo stesso interesse comune, ed è anche grazie a loro che sta raffinando la sua caratteristica produttiva. Nel 2007 ha prodotto il suo primo remix, Trans Atlantic 2007, con il quale sta iniziando a riscuotere notevole importanza (infatti questo remix è stato pubblicato sulla "vetrina" di Digital Music Vol. 29, ricevendo addirittura il VIP Award).
L'8 maggio 2009 è stata rilasciata la sua prima produzione in assoluto, "Taglialegna", sotto il suo nuovo progetto "Sound Carpenter". Si tratta di un pezzo in stile "New Afro" o "Downtempo" (quelli che in molti chiamano "Lento Violento") è verrà rilasciato nella compilation MOViMENTOLENTO Volume 5, rilasciata dalla DOS/Tratti Sonori.
Daniel Somma (aka CDE MusiX) is a growing skill music producer of electronic music. Gains his first creative experiences playing the Piano when he was 7 or 8, listening mainstream and 90's music, and at the age of 14, composes his firstest song in Ambient/Dance style, using a sequencer Tracker, Scream Tracker 3, at that time quite old. He's gone to meet first the world of the 90's Demoscene, and then progressively the modern digital music production and his tools. It's on the 2006 that he started to produce music using finally his first (and today used too) Audio/MIDI sequencer, FL Studio.
Nowdays it's continuing to produce in order to improve his productive skills, studying the music and technics of any musical genre and style, trying to reach the semi-professional music levels (for the moment), and to find his real musical life style.
With Internet, and so some little music production portals and communities (example CTGMusic, TraxInSpace and others), and for his English language speaking ability, it has meet many other friend with common interest, and it's also from them he's learning and inproving his production skills. In the 2007 he has produced the remix of Trans Atlantic, with which he's getting more known to the mainstream scene, getting some popularity (this remix was VIP awarded from the Italian Digital Music magazine).
The 8 may 2009 with his new project handle "Sound Carpenter" he was released for the first ever time with "Taglialegna", a downtempo/new afro track, into a compilation called MOViMENTOLENTO Volume 5 released by DOS/Tratti Sonori.
