About me:
I'm a native Floridian... I sing all sorts of a cappella (barbershop, jazz, contemporary - I've been doing it since I was 12), including baritone (originally bass) in a top ranked bbshop quartet ( Rounders - check out our site for some audio samples), and a new jazz/pop/contemporary foursome ( Voxhouse - check out our MySpace profile for demos, web site coming soon...) and I also direct the Fort Lauderdale bbshop chorus (for the last 7 years).
The chorus just released our first CD, Rounders' CD ( I Wanna Be Around) was just nominated for won 2 2006 CARA's (Contemporary A Cappella Recording Award) for Best Barbershop Album and Best Barbershop Song (this is the second time for my brother Alex and me: our last quartet, Autograph, was nominated for the same 2 awards, and our CD After The Lovin' won Best Barbershop Album of 2003; I sang baritone). I also sub with the Dapper Dans at Walt Disney World from time to time, and Alex and I have the somewhat-dubious distinction of having won 3 Sunshine District Quartet Championships in a 4-year span, on 3 different voice parts each...
Outside of the music world, I run a small creative design agency with my brother Alex ( Webgraph, along with a digital publishing company Sinelogic) which is a whole ton of fun, and challenging enough to always be interesting. I also publish a personal blog ( SuperfluousBanter) where I write about many things, though mostly related to design and the web. You might also want to check out my photos on Flickr.
I've been known to sail when time permits, and I swim on the FLA US Masters Team at the Swimming Hall of Fame on Fort Lauderdale Beach. My friends are strewn all over the world, and I do my best to keep in touch with them; starting this year I'm doing more to visit them all on a regular basis.
I'm very passionate about everything I do, and I'm a perfectionist (mostly).
