About me: Mr. Palmieri began his training in Rome at the National Academy of Dance. In 1995 he received a scholarship to the Royal Ballet School in London. In 1996 he was accepted into the school of Teatro alla Scala in Milan, where he pursued his studies until receiving his diploma in 1998.
He then immediately began his professional career in the National Ballet of Marseille, under the direction of Marie-Claude Pietragalla where he performed several ballets including “Who Cares” from George Balanchine, “Romeo and Juliet” from Rudy Van Danzig, and “Les Adompte” from Claude Broumachon, to mention a few.
In 2000 as a guest to Athens in "Seresta Dance Company" dir. by Christina Bescou,he was an invited guest artist to perform choreographies by Daniel Lommel, a former etoilè of the XX Century Maurice Bejart. Amongst the choreographies, were “Heracles Wallonie” and “Bram Bogart”. One of Mr. Palmieri’s well known achievements was his participation as the male principal role of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” in Teatro Real in Madrid in 2006, along side with the female principal role performed by Luciana Savignano, a former etoilè of Teatro alla Scala.
Mr. Palmieri is now strictly performing as a principal international guest artist. He has performed “Open Space”, a choreography by Vittorio di Rocco, “The Nutcracker”, directed by Carmen Roche and more.
Lately Mr. Palmieri has performed in the Macerata Sferisterio Festival under the direction of Pier Luigi Pizzi. He there was first dancer in “Aida” "Death in Venice" as Jashu in Teatro La Fenice and has been in collaboration with Mr. Gheorghe Jancu , chor. and former etoilè of Teatro alla Scala.
Mr.Palmieri is currently performing with principal guest artist, Myrna Kamara (PRINCIPAL N.Y.C.B.-MIAMI BALLET-MAURICE BEJART BALLET).
He has performed for the national event Miss Italia 2008 RAI 1 chor.Veronica Peparini.
