UPDATE:
A HUGE thank you to everyone who messages and comments, I love you all so much, you are the ones who make this whole crazy journey which is my musical career possible. I wish I could reply to everyone but that's becoming really hard to do, but EVERYTHING you write gets to me and I'll keep in touch with you as much as possible through the blog, pictures and stories from the road and whatever crazy crap my mind can come up with. This MySpace is maintained and updated by my webmaster but all the text here will come from me personally.
My history:
I have been involved with music since I was 8. Started playing the piano, basically forced by my parents but ended up falling in love with the instrument many years later, so I'm glad they made me take lessons back then. However my world changed drastically when I was 10, that was when I was introduced to Rock bands like Skid Row, Guns n' Roses. From that moment on, I wanted to sing, play guitar and dreamed of touring the world. My parents thought of locking me inside the house or strapping me to my bed to prevent that from happening, because mom thought I was going to be a ballerina, dad thought I was going to be a soccer player... well, I HAD to go the other way, the family didn't have a Rock singer yet...
I started my first band when I was 15 and since then, I've met some great people, played some really big venues and have performed and recorded in North and South America and Europe, worked with some excellent professionals. Currently, I am the lead singer for SHADOWSIDE.
Nowadays I use KAWAI/FRITZ DOBBERT keyboards and pianos on all of my recordings and every time I play the keys live and wear LADY SNAKE stage clothes.
Personal notes:
I was born in Brazil, in a nice sunny beach city called Santos. My family is mostly Portuguese and German but I did grow up with the Brazilian philosophy, which is basically whenever life slaps you in the face, you give it your best smile and move on.
I am a Christian but I'll be friends with you whether you are or not. I'm not here to judge people, that's His job and not mine. I only care about your heart and nothing else!
I'm very much into football/soccer (almost became a professional athlete instead of a musician), surfing, drawing, painting, singing (obviously!) and collecting souvenirs from places I visit - if you wanna make me happy, give me one - lol
Oh and by the way - never come to me saying cats suck because I absolutely LOVE them. All animals rule, but I do have lots of cats at home.
Some like to call me the Angel with Horns. Go figure... ;)

Olá, não sei quem a dicionou quem hehehehe, mas a questao é que axo que só agora fui conferir o som do Shadowside, Dare to Dream e gostei bastante, axei um som bem clássico estilo angra, mas com várias influências tipo Lacuna coil. gostei principalmente do vocal(talvez esse seja o motivo de estar comentando isso em seu espaço), axei esses bem paracidos com os de bandas como angra, sei que talvez uma banda não queira soar parecido com estilos como o do angra, por existirem muitos que já soam parecidos, mas shadowside pra mim só soa parecido com bandas classicas do heavy metal melodico, quando se trata do vocal, o que ao meu gosto é um fato bem positivo. o que também me chamou atenção foi o fato de o vocal ser uma mulher, não que você tenha voz de homem, nada disso, mas é que não se encontra muitas vocalistas com esse estilo de vocal, a maioria se apoia no lírico tipo Epica e as vezes não tao lírico mais progressivo como after forever, outras até aderema a vocais bem mais guturais como no Arch Enemy, mas uma vocalista como você, diria eu, pertence ao clássico heavy metal. Parabéns pelo novo albúm está muito legal!

Caramba, Dani... eu não ouvia Shadowside desde aquela época do show do Primal Fear, e isso faz vários anos. Agora que ouvi de novo percebi a gigantesca evolução na banda e no seu vocal. Você está de parabens, e a banda toda! Muito bom!

Não tenho como negar que o Sepultura é parte da minha trilha sonora, mas já os tinha visto algumas vezes, inclusive com a “formação clássica”, confesso que minha expectativa era toda para com vocês. Yo Dani! How are ya?? Just passing to wish you a great week. This is gonna be a very rock n roll 2nd half of the year so hopefully we¨ll get to see each other. Come to play in "El Circo Volador" in Mex. City. It¨s like an underground alternative/metal forum where a bunch of international recongnized bands such as Helloween, Slayer and Sepultura have played. Maybe It¨d be a good idea to form a Dani Nolden fan club here (since I don¨t really know any followers) or better then, get to jam with such if Shadowside or Dani Nolden as a solo artist come.
