BIO:
The Danjar Boys (pronounced "Danger Boys") are one of the nation's premiere musical talents. Blending a sinister mixture of hip-hop groove and rock n roll heroism, the band has spent the past three years developing a regional following along the stretch of Interstate-75 between Knoxville and Chattanooga. Their music itself could be described as cutting-edge southern rap, continuing in the traditions of Goodie Mob, Outkast, and the Geto Boys. It is the Danjar Boys' versatile style that both groups them, and separates them from their predecessors.
The group's two founding members are D-mack tha firecracka and JB smooth. The latter, JB, is the driving force behind the production end of their records. He (the dark skinded one) performs with a delivery that makes the ladies melt while scaring sucker MC's out of their gym shorts. D (the white skinded one) is, without a doubt, the more lyrical of the two: assaulting the underground with a barrage of lightning-quick wit, that tends to drift into the occasional abstract cipher before coming back to claim what is quite rightfully his......the microphone. It is their attitude and talents that led one local music guru to dub them "the biggest stars in the world!......... that no one knows."
Their live show has become unparalleled over time. The two have been friends for the better part of a decade, and it is apparent when they take the stage. The Danjar Boys have been relatively under wraps, as they have been working out of a rural community. But they will continue to drive that long gravel road to their studio in the boondocks, and keep making hit records. They will keep dropping timeless tracks; that are also subsequently for our time. They will keep writing and performing songs that only a true music lover can appreciate.
