I am a self-taught death metal band logo designer. I work mostly from pencil sketches that I then scan in and edit using Photoshop CS3. Currently I am in my third year at Worcester University studying Creative Digital Media.
For my Independent Study I am trying to create a promotional package for a band to help raise their profile and gain them more gigs and recognition. I will only be doing this FREE promotional package for one band which I will start work for in February next year. But until then I am happy to do free death metal logos for bands that approach me .
MUSTS FROM THE SELECTED BAND:
* I must like the band's name and style of music, otherwise I wouldn't feel I was putting 100% effort into my Independent study. * Bands must keep in regular contact with me (via e mail) and pitch me ideas about what artwork style they would like me to design.
* The band must understand my web skills are limited but are high in the design area of band promotion.
* The band must be from the West Midlands area.
* I will be doing only ONE band for my final Independent study.
