That's right: Endangered Audio of Asheville, North Carolina is now commercially producing Gristleizers. Basically a portion of a synth that has been removed and put into a pedal, the Gristleizer is one of the most unique guitar/bass/synth/sousaphone/WHATEVER YOU WANT effects ever created. Well, Mark, the guitarist, works at Endangered Audio and builds these things with the help of a few other coworkers (Charlie, Dave, Jenny, Rosser, Nick, Toby). This is a boutique, hand-made operation using 100% analog circuitry and 110% effort and attention to detail. Also, if you click on the "used/vintage" tab on the website, you will see some pretty awesome guitars, amps, and pedals for sale for dirt cheap! We recently expanded our store on the internet to move things that have been sitting around the shop for too long so these prices really, quite simply, can't be beat.
