people know me as dan, danko, hager, shums, heggstarr,bon jovi's nephew, i prefer none above the other. my roots lay in the soil of olney, philadelphia, pennsylvania, usa. where i was reared dog nabbit.. eldest of seven. im a poet, writer and musician as well as inspector of all things built and unbuilt. ive become an avid golfer of sorts. the songs displayed on the page are mostly songs from my first two releases "hitchhiking in fallujah w/o a bulletproof vest" (limited sold out pressing..if you have that your pretty good.) and "widow orphan"(released july 21 2008 limited pressing of which only a few copies are still available). all the songs are written, produced, arranged and recorded in the backroom of my manufactured home by yours truely with the upmost of 20th century digital musical technology. i.e. the pc, fruityloops,adobe audition,korg products (the ever popular josh and petes MS2000 and SP50), fender products ( fender strat plus gold laced and a usa fat tele) and a nifty fostex vm200 that is more than reliable.im the proud owner of jack kerrigans vtm120. i create fashion and trends. im a unsponsored pro poker player. i like watching boston legal,reba,california dreams, saved by the bell, diff'rent strokes, simpsons, family guy , conan o' brian, letterman, antiques roadshow and nova (anything on PBS.) im very content with my position in life. i have an extremely unexpensive pabst blue ribbon habit. i have lots of poems in my blog area because its how i vent. some call it inspired. i lead a more than interesting life. i have deep appreciation for original people and artists. plastic ono band is the realest album ever made. i think pop music nowadays sucks monkey ass. although i do dig my chemical romance. im a certified sharp shooter by the united states government. i still tear up when i listen to nirvana songs. three bands i could do without..offspring, live and silvertide. i really dig the cover of the slint album. built to spills "perfect from now on" is 100 times better on vinyl. (hell most releases are). im an osha certified forklift driver. i like nice smelling candles and gardens. i like noses and boobs. i guess im two pennies short of a nose/boob fetishist.i know cpr and first aid. i have seen back to the future and dazed and confused over 500 times. im extremely thrifty. i am killer at sinatra karaoke.i rent my dvds at the bucks county library. always racking up late fees. i creatively acquire the internet from unsecured wireless connections. i like stephen kings dark tower series. i love all things beat. id like to see a deathmatch between phil collins and peter gabriel. i wrote almost every song on the tiddies album.i think dave mustaine should break hetfields and ulrich's hands for stealing mechanix. i played with gobots more than transformers cause i was a poorkid. although i believe my brother and i had optimus prime and i might of had the white porsche guy. i still blow up action figures with firecrackers. i listen to audiobooks on tape. i wish it was legal to have monkeys. i think kurt cobain and axl rose would of been a swell fight. even as an artist i dont feel too much of syd barretts floyd songs. i like to bring fisherprice record players to the beach and listen to sunnydayrealestate, beachboys and bts albums. i have a cat named banana's and i rarely wear deodorants.
Hey I really like your muzic...it makes me smile. I like the song poems on pizza boxes. Some parts of your songs reminds me of stuff by Dynamite Hack... dunno lol
