DAN LEVADAS - LIVING JAZZ: É o mais recente trabalho solo do baixista DAN LEVADAS,
Uma homenagem aos grandes mestres do JAZZ tendo uma temática totalmente política e
regada a cultura negra norte-americana de se tocar JAZZ, influenciada por nomes como:
CHARLES MINGUS, THELONIOUS MONK, JOHN COLTRANE E DIZZY GILLESPIE, DANLEVADAS consegue
em suas composições próprias à mesma voracidade dos mestres citados acima, com uma
atmosfera forte e cheios de efeitos sem perder a musicalidade e a técnica. O CD é cheio
de surpresas que se iniciam com uma apresentação de rádio típica de JAZZ e termina com
a trilha sonora dessa rádio gravada por DAN LEVADAS no baixo acústico e THELONIOUS DE
JESUS (Filho dele c/ 2 anos) na bateria. Este trabalho ao vivo pode ter em sua formação
bastante flexibilidade, hora podendo ser tocado em trio (instrumental), hora em quarteto com a
presença de uma cantora p/ eventos que necessitam dessa característica, ou ainda a versão 100%
acústica sendo formada por um trio: (Baixo Acústico, Bateria, Sax).
Esse formato acústico é excelente p/ eventos de pequeno porte (Hotéis, Happy-hours e festas fechadas).
O projeto conta com o apoio das empresas; Hendrix Word Music, ARS Guitars,
Groove Strings, XXL street Wear e Mirrage Records.

DAN LEVADAS - LIVING JAZZ : Is the most recent solo project from the bass player Dan Levadas.
It's a homenage to the Jazz Masters with a totally politic subjects and trip into to the Afro-American way of playing
Jazz, influenced by the names like: CHARLES MINGUS, THELONIOUS MONK, JOHN COLTRANE e DIZZY GILLESPIE.
DAN LEVADAS through his compositions could transmit the same vibes of the Masters before mencioned, with a strong
atmosphere and full of sound effects without losing the musicianship or the technique. His CD has a lot of surprises
that begins with a typical jazz-radio station broadcast and ends with a duet of its soundtrack between DAN LEVADAS playing bass and his son
THELONIOUS DE JESUS (with just 4 years old) playing drums.
This project, when performed live, can have some variations on its formation, sometimes it can be performed by a trio (instrumental)
sometimes in a quartet with a female singer on events that needs of this character, or in a 100% Acoustic version of this project
performed by a trio: ( Acoustic Bass, Acoustic Drums and a Saxophone).
This acoustic format is an excellent idea to small events ( HOTELS, HAPPY-HOURS and PRIVATE-EVENTS).
