About me:

I've done a lot of things, except make a lot of money at them. I did stand-up comedy for several years, working clubs and colleges across the nation with such performers as Sam Kinison, Lenny Clarke, Judy Tenuta, Jimmy Tingle and political satirist Barry Crimmins. I've been in a couple of sketch comedy groups including "Cross Comedy" with David Cross ("Arrested Development" and HBO's "Mr. Show") and "The Sketch Society." I've also done such diverse jobs as: portraiture and such weird jobs as cheese-schredder and glasscutter. No, not the diamond kind, but window glass. I currently write for a few papers in the Boston area, including a humor column for The Stoneham Independent. Previous columns can be found at my website: www.danmargarita.com. I have also begun writing and performing original music. While mostly of a humorous nature with such songs as "Stitches & Nudity," "Friends With Benefits" and "A Boston Love Song," I have several serious and/or socially conscious songs as "Moralityland," "Gone But Not Forgotten" and "Coffee In The Show."

Who I'd like to meet:

If I could meet someone living or dead, it would be Abraham Lincoln. Of course, I'd rather meet him living; he'd be much more interesting.

the tv series actually had nothing to do with the movies except the name. it was really a poor choice on their part to use that name. the show was fun and darkly witty.

The other guys I work with always say they are going to switch the label on my medication. That's not good. If I take the wrong one or eat at Mcdonalds my ribs could grow back. I'm also Alergic to water.
