Danni spent her childhood in Bedfordshire. Part of a large and talented family of musicians, designers and artists, she was surrounded by creativity and it wasn’t long before she discovered her own creative outlet.
In the early learning years, Danni’s influences included Chuck Berry, Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly and Little Richard. She tampered with a few other instruments but it wasn’t until she inherited a '1962 Burns shortscale jazz' (once owned by Billy Fury!) from an uncle, that Danni discovered the guitar.
Eight years ago, She took her two never-used keyboards to a Cash Converters in Bedford, swapped them for her first acoustic guitar and locked herself away stumbling over new chords and writing original songs from the off.
‘There is something mesmerising about watching Danni perform. She is an inspirational person with a great ear for a melody.’ (Damian Keyes - The Who, Eric Clapton, Jools Holland)
She has recently completed a new e.p with producer Tim Bidwell entitled 'Heavy Shoes' which is due to be released at the end of June. She will be gigging in Brighton and London with multi instrumentalist Nick Funke and working on new material.
Artists Danni has supported:
Angus & Julia Stone, The Cedars, Paul Curreri, Kate Walsh and in september...Otis Gibbs & Sinead and the Dawnbreakers
