Danny and the Devils is a hard rocking original blues/rock band. Fronted by, guitarist, singer, songwriter Danny Baron, this power trio can rock you one minute and groove you the next. People are always shocked to see that they are a trio because they sound so much BIGGER. With Drummer, Mark Bonasara and KRAMER on Bass, these acomplished musicians and long time friends will take you right where you want to be.
"Danny Baron is a local musician who I met for the first time , when he was a guest guitarist at a show from one of Chicago's finest blues players, Melvin Taylor.
As a fellow guitarist, I was particularly impressed by his fluid playing and most of all, his energy and conviction in his performance. So when he contacted me sometime later, and invited me to check out a show with his band, Danny and the Devils, I Happily accepted.
The band took the stage with an abundance of energy that I would expect from a young heavy metal band. It is inspiring to see someone be so passionate and get so into a performance as Danny Baron did, and does every time he plugs in his guitar. The band has been keeping busy. From playing/recording for long time Chicago radio hosts, Danny Bonaduce, Kevin Matthews and Steve Dahl. To more recently opening for blues great Lonnie Brooks, Bernard Allison, and rock icon Leon Russell. Danny even got to tour with the former Beach Boy and rock legend, Brian Wilson on his first ever solo tour.
Do yourself a favor and catch this band whenever you can. You will never be dissapointed. Look for their new disc that should be out by late summer 09.
