A brief intro into the world of Danny Apple......
Danny is a local acoustic artist playing Mansfield, Ashfield and Nottingham areas. He has played gigs supporting Bonehead and The Kaya's and the Y Not festival 3 years running. Danny is currently available for bookings, send a message for details.
So what can you say about Danny? Well he is tagged under many musical umbrellas, his styles varying from guitar based rock n roll, accoustic indie and classic rhythm n blues. From All or Nothing by Small Faces through The Beatles and The Stereophonics to the Zutons, merged in with his own accoustic melodies in his tracks July and Jealous Mind.
Why this name?
Well it is a story in many parts. Danny is.....well....his name of course. Now about Apple........ There are a few reasons.
1. He has a green guitar, indeed it is the colour of an apple
2. He likes apples!
3. One day Danny was in town busking away when he was approached by a mate. Danny was eating an apple at the time. His mate said Danny! in a knowing and nodding way....paused and then said Apple...again in a knowing nodding way. Hence Danny Apple.
4. Then of course there is the cider.........
