    .. I grew up in a musical family, and have been playing bluegrass music for over 15 years. My first experience playing bluegrass was with Ginger Boatwright and Doug Dillard using me as their bassman for their camp concerts. Soon after I started playing with my dad in the seminole Alaskan bluegrass band Rank Strangers, with Frank Solivan II on fiddle. While living in Alaska, I played and toured with Ginger Boatwright, Wellstrung, Rank Strangers and a short while with Bearfoot (on mandolin). In 2008 I made the trek to the Bay Area of California to pursue new musical horizons, and have been quite fortunate to play with some incredible people. I currently play in the Kathy Kallick Band, 49 Special and Homespun Rowdy, and have had opportunities to perform with Ralph Stanley (as a Clinch Mountain Boy sub for the great Jack Cooke) and Laurie Lewis among others. I also play mandolin and guitar, so if anyone needs a sub for a gig drop me a line! In my spare time I like to get outdoors and hike, listen to records, meet new folks and as always, PICK! ...
