Hello, welcome to my MySpace page. I've been a professional Actor/Musician since 1983 and I have appeared in numerous musical/stage/acting productions. I make my living primarily as an Actor and occasionally as a Musician (Guitarist). Though I'm fairly good at it and I make a decent living with it, I don't really like show business. I have a home in LA but spend some of my free time in Montana. I am recently divorced and happy being single. Though I do many things, this page is set up for my Johnny Depp Double/Impersonation work. I've heard the resemblance remarks to JD since 1985. I guess it chose me as opposed to me choosing it. I really enjoy doubling as JD and his famous characters. It can be a tough job sometimes as the actor I portray is such an icon. It's often un-nerving as people go crazy because they often think I am HIM. Of course, there is only ONE Johnny. I'm not trying to be him, I don't want to be him and I don't think I'm him, so you haters can go home. It's just an acting job for me. I just happen to resemble this famous actor so I joined the celebrity double/impersonators family. It can be a fun job sometimes. The best thing I like about it is that it makes kids happy. BIOGRAPHY

Award winning actor, musician and celebrity impersonator, Daniel Steven Lopez, began his show business career at the age of 7 when he appeared in his first television commercial. A veteran of over five hundred musical productions, stage plays, TV shows and films, Danny has established a solid reputation in the world of entertainment. A member of the Actors Equity, AFTRA and the Screen Actors Guild since 1983, Daniel is also renowned in the impersonation tribute band business. Danny is the star, founder and creator of many successful classic rock and roll tribute bands where he performs as legends George Harrison, Davy Jones and Keith Richards.

A life long Actor, Danny began his acting and Impersonation career in 1983 at the young age of 19 by performing as a featured member in the Las Vegas extravaganza, Legends in Concert. Danny has performed in 48 States and on four continents as an actor, tribute artist and impersonator. Danny has also worked with Director Steven Soderbergh among others. Danny's work has been featured in the LA Times, USA today, VHI, MTV, E!, CNN, MSNBC, the Chicago Tribune, the NY Times and Entertainment Weekly.

Danny’s accurate, dead-on impersonation to which many call the worlds' greatest actor, Johnny Depp is without equal. Danny’s eerie resemblance to Johnny Depp is uncanny and he is frequently mistaken for Johnny Depp on the streets. "I've always been told that I look like Johnny," states Danny. "It's a wonderful challenge to impersonate him and recreate some of his greatest movie characters for his millions of fans."

Danny not only appears at events as Johnny Depp impersonator but he can also re-create Depp's most famous movie characters: Captain Jack, Willy Wonka, Edward Scissorhands, Sweeney Todd, etc with accurate precision. With Danny's acting skills, spot on look to Johnny and authentic costumes, props and wardrobe, Danny's tribute to Johnny Depp has no equal. Entertainment Weekly reported that Danny is "an actor with incredible range."

Danny has recently been featured worldwide on several TV shows (most recently co-hosting on the Maury Povich show) and was featured in recent books, newspapers and magazine articles. He is a recent winner of an IGCITA Cloney award for his impersonation work and was a runner up as the best overall celebrity look-alike at the 2007 Sunburst Impersonator Convention. Legendary actor Christopher Lee (Johnny’s co-star in four films) and Seinfeld star John O' Hurley both called Danny "a dead ringer" for Johnny Depp. In a bit of irony, Danny also shares the same birthday as Johnny. All movie fans from ages 5 to 95 love actor Johnny Depp. Danny's phenomenal tribute to Johnny Depp is one that you don't want to miss!
