Influences
Danny cites Charlie Musselwhite, James Cotton, Delbert McClinton, Louis Jordan and Paul Butterfield as influences as well as all the excellent harp players on the planet.
Danny Miller has been playing the "blues" in southeastern Wisconsin for the last thirty seven years with some of Wisconsin's best musicians. In that time he has collected a loyal group of fans who love to listen and dance to his music which features his soulful voice and soaring harmonica solos.
Danny started his career with "Rocket 88" and played with several bands over the years, including Plumb Loco and the well known "Cahoots" before forming his own group in 1980. Danny won the 2002 WAMI (Wisconsin Area Music Industry) Award winner as a harmonica player and is an acknowleged "Master" of the instrument. Danny was nominated for a WAMI again in 2004. His talents are in demand and he has contributed solos to the CD's of many local artists. He continues to make guest appearances when the situation calls for a great "harp" player.
Hey Danny! I hope all is well with you. I have weekends free now, maybe John and I can come hear you play some time. If you know anyone who needs a good drummer, let me know. Hope to see you soon! Hugs, Debbie (Reimer)
Hey Danny! Karen and I would really love to come hear you play again! We talk about when we would come and party when Cahoot's was still rockin. :) So please let me know when and where you play next so we can come do it all over again!!! Hugs, Debbie
