Check out the Rootstock Music Festival (August 7 & 8, 2010) promo video.
This video was recorded at the Broward Center for Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on March 16, 2010. I was performing at a solo singer/songwriter circle with some other great singer/songwriters. In this video you will see and hear my first single "Lay My Guns Down", which can be found on my debut album "Crushing The Stone," which is available at selected Best Buy stores in South Florida and can also be purchase online at CD Baby, I-Tunes and more.

The footage below was shot on October 21, 2009, at B.B. King Blues Club &
Grill, NYC. It is the first official public video release of a Danny Nova live performance world-wide. This video is in part excerpts of the original 1 hour live concert and is released as a 10 minute sample. Full length song videos of the performance will be released in the near future.
The email signup list below is an important list to be if you want to be notified of where you can catch a live show. Please add yourself to it. I do not share the information you provide with any other party.
Not an official video release, the footage below was covertly captured at Carnegie Hall in November 2008. The footage was in part a snipet of the concert which was added to an internet show's broadcast. The after party at Hudson Terrace, NYC was also included.
NY Rocks TV, Rocks The Danny Nova Tour Bus - The following video was also shot on Valentines Day after we shot the NY Rocks TV show at Time/Warner CTV in NYC. When the studio producers reviewed it, they felt it was amusing and actually informative enough to make a partial show out of it. It was a reality taping and shot on the fly, showing the inside amenities of my personal tour bus. But the fun of it was when I was on the phone trying to direct my friend Michael Wehrhahn (great movie producer) to the studio. He was lost for over two hours and he missed the whole show!! Not the first time, he cracks me up, hehe. The video is around 29 minutes and will be aired on Time/Warner CTV in the near future.
The names listed below are of people who have played or
developed music with me either as members, writers, producers, artists or studio cats. I want to thank all of them because each one of them had made a commitment to the music we were creating at that time and ultimately influenced me in some way. I am even going back to my first band ever, when I was in the 6th grade, LOL. If anyone who is reading this, feels that they have been left out or that I have misspelled your name, by all means let me know. It's hard to recall all the names off the top of my head.

ON NOVEMBER 15, 2008, DANNY NOVA HEADLINED CARNEGIE HALL. With smashing reviews and ongoing press about "The emerging artist who took on CARNEGIE HALL with great success!" Danny Nova made musical history and it is certain that the event will be talked about for many years to come.
Carnegie Hall, which is considered the premier concert venue of the world, receives 4,500 artist press kit submissions a year from major record labels and agents looking to engage a Carnegie Hall booking for their artists. Nova is one of the only contemporary artists to perform at Carnegie Hall for the 2008-2009 season. This in itself is a lifetime achievement.
Danny Nova's "Crushing The Stone," his world solo debut CD was released on September 24, 2008. All instrumentation on "Crushing The Stone," was played by Nova except for cello which was played by Peter Lewy and piano/keyboards which were played by Scott Treibitz. The CD was recorded at The Barbershop Studios, Lake Hopatcong, NJ. Studio engineers were Michael Ferretti, Jason Corsaro and assistant engineer Dante Portella. "Grammy Award" winner engineer Tony Black completed the mix.
NOTICE TO TALENT BUYERS, FILM & TV PRODUCERS AND MEDIA: The vocal performances on Danny Nova's "Crushing The Stone" CD, were recorded in one take while being filmed for TV and in less than 50 minutes with only 4 seconds in-between songs. Point in case, Danny's live concert performances are as what is heard on the studio recordings!
You can purchase Danny Nova's,"Crushing The Stone" by clicking on the banner below, or visiting www.cdbaby.com, iTunes, Amazonmp3, or Digstation.
Hi! My name is Danny Nova. I personally read every comment, piece of mail and friend request message. It might take a few days for me to read your message before I can respond to you or add your profile. Also, if you happen to find a profile on my friends list that is of porn, racist or hateful by nature, please notify me ASAP and I will remove it. Thank You.
Moving onward, you may or may not know me or know of me, but I am an ethical Vegan promoting the Vegan lifestyle. It is a part of my mission, as well as teaming up with organizations that work to benefit the sick, the homeless, the mentally impaired, the oppressed, and the abused. Organizations that address all animal/civil rights issues are tops in my book.
Besides my personal mission, lets talk about the music. If you know me, then you know that I am a serious songwriter, play 10 instruments (Guitar, Piano, Bass, Drums, Flute, Sax, Violin, Clarinet, Harmonica, Various Percussion) and sing my ass off. I regard myself as second to none because I don't compete with anyone, especially with any other artist.
I have been playing music since I was six years old. Back then, I didn't know about fame or fortune, nor do I care about those things now. I do what I do with music because it's what I have always loved to do. I have turned down many opportunities to reach commercial success for good reasons ... Summing it up and not being a snob or anything, I don't sell out my music, my soul or whatever else I have that is worth buying, so to speak. I can't be bought and I am happy with that. If I don't feel a good vibe from a person or agent, manager, producer, engineer, press person, radio person, record company person, promoter, venue manager, club owner or other musician, I won't deal with them, I just politely walk away or avoid them and that's all there is to it. So be nice and I won't walk away from you! lol.
So anyway, please know this; If I could be a special friend to everyone who wanted me to be, I would be. In reality, it just isn't possible to do that face to face but it is through the music. For now, the lyrics will tell you my story.
As a Solo Performer or with his band: the joining of acoustic guitars, piano, cellos, flute, harmonica, bass and percussion, along with powerful lead vocals that have distinguishable melodies throughout, places his music into the "Acoustic Rock" genre.

Danny Nova is a world-class vocalist whose music-making abilities cannot be denied. As a songwriter, Nova is admired for his fine blending of lyrical content with melodic and flowing musical compositions. Peer songwriters consider his lyrical content as seasoned, poised, sensitive and profound with a thin lining of obscurity.
With his four-plus octave vocal range, hitting full voice E notes above high C, this raspy-voiced, acoustic artist would turn the heads of many famed vocalists such as Steve Perry, Ian Gillian, Robert Plant, Rod Stewart, Joe Turner and Steven Tyler.

Today I'm sending you something about the flower for July... the Lotus Flower or Water Lily...
The lotus flower is symbolic of rebirth, but in addition to its religious meaning, the lotus is also a symbol of all that is true, good and beautiful, representing good fortune, peace and enlightenment.
"These virgin lilies, all the night bathing their beauties in the lake. That they may rise more fresh and bright, when their beloved sun's awake." ~ Thomas Moore ~
Life becomes precious and more special to us when we look for the little everyday miracles and get excited about the privileges of simply being human. ~ Tim Hansel ~

"Traveling is not just seeing the new; it is also leaving behind. Not just opening doors; also closing them behind you, never to return, but the place you have left forever is always there for you to see whenever you shut your eyes." ~ Jan Myrdal
